Please read carefully. The information below is to inform you on my booking process and to help answer some questions you might have. Also refer to the FAQ page to eliminate the need for unnecessary emails.
HOW TO START THE BOOKING PROCESS
First go to my website nathanmarti.com and submit your idea in the “TATTOO REQUEST” link on my page. Please provide a maximum of 4-5 sentences when describing your concepts, body placement, and size.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
Each seasonal quarter (4-5 times a year) I open my books and review all request that I receive and determine based on your email which projects I’m most interested in taking on. I will announce on my Instagram and Website when I’ll be accepting new projects. Due to the overwhelming amount of request, I will not be able to respond to every email nor take on every project that is presented. I keep my eyes open for projects that spark immediate interest and inspiration.
HOW TO INCREASE CHANCES OF
SOLIDIFYING A TATTOO APPOINTMENT
When accepting projects I usually look for the ones with fewer restrictions on design and body placement rather than strict parameters. Most projects I take on are larger in scale and don’t require any cover up work. I seek concepts that fall under the dark art/organic bio realm and I work almost entirely in black and grey. Lastly, I’m looking for clients that are dedicated enough to put forth the time and financial investment that is necessary to receive the best possible tattoo.

BOOKING FEE AND PRICING
INFORMATION
If your project has been accepted a booking fee is required to solidify appointment dates to begin the tattoo process. Please note* The booking fee is not a deposit. The booking fee is payment for the time it takes to research and design your concept. It’s non-refundable and is NOT deducted from the cost of the tattoo itself. For each new project a booking fee will be required.
Tattoo pricing is broken up into flat rates. Most projects I take on require full days or multiple sessions. I use this method to help clients prepare and know what to expect for payments during our appointments. CASH & CARD are the only forms of payment accepted. Please note that there is sales tax added to any transactions.
New rates below will take effect for all new appointments in 2024
BOOKING FEE - $200 + tax (not a deposit)
HALF DAY (2.5hours) -$600 + tax
FULL DAY (5hours) - $1200 + tax
An Hourly charge of $240 will begin for any work done after 5 hours. Otherwise all sessions end after 5 hours.
All transactions are subject to Ohio’s 7.5% sales tax. (Cash Included)

APPOINTMENT/CONSULTATION DETAILS
Not all chosen projects will require an in-person consult. If a consult is needed I will let you know and we can set up a date and time to meet at the Hollow Earth studio. An invoice for the Booking Fee will be sent and must be paid within 24 hours.
Once the Booking Fee has been paid appointment dates will be set. Multiple sessions may be booked as long as its under the same project. Appointment wait times from the day of paid booking fee can be anywhere from 1 month to 4 months.
I work Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday from 12PM-7PM. Appointment request outside of these days/hours will require additional payment.
RESCHEDULE/CANCEL APPOINTMENT
A minimum 7 day notice must be given to reschedule your appointment. You may reschedule your appointment 1 time before your Booking Fee is forfeited and another is required. Any appointment canceled after the 3 day grace period from which you Booking Fee was paid will result in a loss of Booking fee.
DESIGNS
All designs are presented the day of the appointment. Minor alterations may be done but any major alterations could result in an immediate drop of the project.
Some designs may require additional time to draw directly on the body with markers the day of the appointment.
DAY OF THE APPOINTMENT
Please arrive on time to your appointment. Once the design is approved the stencil or marker drawing will be applied and we will begin. I tattoo for two 2.5 hour intervals taking a 20 min lunch break half way through the session. Bathroom and stretching breaks are taken as needed.
